December......

Saturday we started filming with YellowSnow. It was sweet. We have the best producer/ cameraman/ editor ever; Oscar, you're the man! Can't wait to get more footage done.
Unfortunately I had to take few days brake from skiing, because I got punished by bunge-rope....
Visited ER for few hours and got some stitches, no broken bones, happy about that.

I've been meaning to tell you about my skis Soma's for a while. I got pair Somas last spring, used them a lot last summer, but I've been using them this fall almost all the time. They have great rotation skill in air and the spin is awesome! The best skis ever!

Now I'm off to mid Finland X-Mas vacation, food, sleep and skiing. Stocked!

Filming

I just started filming yesterday at Talma SnowPark for series of short movies. They are dropping out during the season, hope you enjoy them. Here is a pic that is being used.

Today was happy day. :) It's snowing in Helsinki and Talma is blowing snow. I'll get to go and ski on saturday! And I've been growing my hair and today I got new hair doo. Stocked!

Sorry guys, I haven’t been very good with my blog this fall…..

I’ve been busy studing and training. There is not much snow south of Finland yet, but I’ve doing trampoline and basics, alltogether 8 times a week.

I went to SaasFee for one week in October, but I got to ski for two days because  of huge wind. Allthough I did what I went to do, sw dub misty 12 . I’m so stocked about that!

There was skiexpo in Finland few weeks ago and there is this great pic of me in the railjam invitational finals. Check out the crowd! Here is the link:

Summer time

It’s nice to be home. I left in mid June to Les2Alpes to ski with ParomCamps for 1 month. Things were well organized and we had so much fun. We did some whitewater rafting, downhill biking and definetly skied. The weather was changing quite a lot, didn’t matter, Soma’s and Area’s were working so good. We got  to the finals! Happy about that!

I also skied with my team mates Etienne, Freddy and Raphael, and met Candice. Shout out!

My new FATCAN poles are awesome. They are so FUN!

Also I skied first time with Fasc clothing and they are so good. Cool to ski with big stuff again. Can’t wait to get the stuff for season 12/13. They are also looking good, check out the Fasc facebook, you can see them from there.

From L2A I came home for one night and left for SatisFaction Splash camp to Czech Rep. For 1 week. I had so much fun. Was so great to train with Daniel and Czech homies. We did some water jumping, barbeque, skateing, blading, partying… Faction is doing some grazy fun stuff in Czech, so well organized. What a great country and great people.  Thanks for having me, so grateful!

Now I’m going to chill for few days, see my grandmom J  and start basic training, weights, running etc… and wait for next chance to hit the slopes.

I was out of school so much this year that I had to do grazy studying. Still few days school left and then summer vacation.

I’m going to Les2Alpes for month this summer with Parom Camps. Can’t wait! Thanks Parom!

Till that I’m mowing the lawn and waxing my new skis….

Tour update

Czech Republic with side effects

I got invited to O’neill Soldiers  Big Air competition to Destne Czech rep.

The jump was huge, nearly craped myself when I saw it.

The comp was so fun and well organized. I got myself into the finals, Saturday was grazy fun, didn’t land my jumps as well as on friday, but had a really good time.

Friday night at night team comp did a plain fun backflip, landed it bad and broke and dislocated my thump…. I didn’t know it was broken untill sunday night when I arrived to Kaprun.

Good thing is the cast is colors of finnish flag, white/blue! J

AFO 1st place

Arrived to Kaprun on sunday night and next morning went to practise the course with cast.

It was fun! The Kitchteinhorn was in really good shape. Had good few days with my homies from Finland and great comp. I hardly noticed the weather, my skis were working sweet.

Alpe Di Siusi Red Bull Ski Jib Kings

Friday morning we left to Alpe Di Siusi Italy. RedBull Jib Ski Kings. What a sweet setup and view. I stayed with Red Bull Crew and my homies. Sun was shining, life just can’t get any better. Got myself to the finals on friday and stood on the bodium on saturday with Lukas Schäfer 1st and Valentino Mori 2nd. You can read more about it:

I broke my ligamen in the end of December, so it’s been basic training since then.

The anckle feels pretty good now.

I decided to compete in Pro this year and I’ve been really happy with that decision.

I’ve been in finals in every competition. The level of the pro is really tough in Finland this year.

Jib Academy was in Talma 28.1. which I won. :) I can’t find any competition pics from the web to post, hopefully they’ll put them up soon….

My dog Tootsoni got a new AngryBird toy for Christmas  and she’s been biting the crap out of the green pig. Here’s a picture.
